The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Castellino Futbol Club getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Arnaldo Toribio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Ferdinand having to interfere. Arnaldo Ferdinand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Vedillo in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th match minute, Castellino Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iker Ignatius to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Castellino Futbol Club's Edelmiro Perez got a free kick in the 28th minute. The nice shot from Arnoldo Belasko in the 30thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Arnaldo Ferdinand had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Filomeno Gauargi kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Toribio in the 34th minute of play forced Castellino Futbol Club's goalkeeper Arnaldo Ferdinand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Alcaraz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Arnaldo Ferdinand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mario Luar kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Arnoldo Belasko who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Arnaldo Ferdinand when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Arnulfo Terciero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Mincho in the 41st minute of the match. Enrique Gilesindo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnulfo Terciero having to interfere. Arnulfo Terciero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Mincho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnoldo Belasko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carlos Alcaraz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Arnaldo Ferdinand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnaldo Ferdinand came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Tinajeros AFC's Arnoldo Belasko. But to his dismay, Arnoldo Belasko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Arnoldo Belasko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Ferdinand having to interfere. Arnoldo Belasko struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Arnaldo Ferdinand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tinajeros AFC. When Ali Galip Arslan fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tinajeros AFC's protests and gave Ali Galip Arslan a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 69th minute of the game. One of Tinajeros AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Castellino Futbol Club:s goal. After 72 minutes Tinajeros AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Raul Cerilo who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Castellino Futbol Club's corner Raul Cerilo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arnulfo Terciero quite easily take care of the ball. Filomeno Gauargi's late challenge caught a Tinajeros AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filomeno Gauargi helped the player get up and apologised. Filomeno Gauargi hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Tomás Mincho's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Arnulfo Terciero skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.
