Iker Gonchan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Arnaldo Ferdinand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Puyel's Lisandro Illan got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 14th minute of the match Raul Cerilo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gustavo Urtzi skillfully saved the ball. Filomeno Gauargi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Gustavo Urtzi made a huge save. In the 17th minute Romeo Laurin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Ferdinand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelino Lizbeth kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Tomás Mincho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Castellino Futbol Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 27 minutes, Filomeno Gauargi mouthed his way into the referee's book. Filomeno Gauargi hit a great ball. Puyel's Romeo Laurin got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romeo Laurin in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnaldo Ferdinand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Filomeno Gauargi kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Iker Gonchan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Ferdinand having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Romeo Laurin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnaldo Ferdinand. Castellino Futbol Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Romeo Laurin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomás Mincho made a kick off. Puyel's Romeo Laurin got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Romeo Laurin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Puyel getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Iker Gonchan hit a great ball. Romeo Laurin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnaldo Ferdinand read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Romeo Laurin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Arnaldo Ferdinand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Puyel booed when Castellino Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Geleberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Puyel's Iker Gonchan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnaldo Ferdinand narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Castellino Futbol Club. Tomás Mincho struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Gustavo Urtzi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castellino Futbol Club.
