The supporters of Aguilas Negras booed when Dr Bidón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Bernabel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquin Farias was extremely unlucky when he, in the 17th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Efrain Bernabel kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. The long shot by Bernabe Escobar in the 24th minute really tested Anier Ledesma's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Dr Bidón's Anier Ledesma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Calvet in the 27th minute of play. If Marcelo Calvet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, Dr Bidón's goalkeeper Anier Ledesma had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joaquin Farias. Marcelo Calvet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Ledesma having to interfere. When Marcelo Calvet, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 41 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Anier Ledesma was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Albino Haritz kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Joaquin Farias notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Dr Bidón's Anier Ledesma. Anier Ledesma was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcelo Calvet to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Aguilas Negras's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Constancio came free, but Teodoro Napier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 56 minutes, Marcelo Calvet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aguilas Negras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelo Calvet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcelo Calvet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Ledesma having to interfere. Anier Ledesma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Calvet in the 64th minute of play. Joaquin Farias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Anier Ledesma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aquiles Leheren charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aquiles Leheren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Aguilas Negras's Aquiles Leheren got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute, Marcelo Calvet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aguilas Negras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Flavio Constancio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Teodoro Napier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodoro Napier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Constancio in the 76th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the game, Aguilas Negras's Joaquin Farias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The audience was convinced that Marcelo Calvet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anier Ledesma was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Joaquin Farias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Anier Ledesma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Marcelo Calvet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Aguilas Negras had played much better football throughout.
