Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cornelio Maju made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 9th match minute, Alicante FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Belo to maneuver through the defense. Gregorio Menendo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltasar Jaunzuria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alicante FC's Gregorio Menendo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Sesuldo in the 16th minute of play. After having played for 17 minutes, Vinicio Vidal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alicante FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vinicio Vidal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Real Bañil CF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Everardo Mano scored to the left of an out of position Esteban Manuelo, making the score, 1-0. Gregorio Menendo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornelio Maju in the 22nd minute of the match. When Alfonso Lia came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Alicante FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfonso Lia couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Cornelio Maju's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gregorio Menendo was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. If Vinicio Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Delmiro Hechter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cornelio Maju recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Everardo Mano got free with Esteban Manuelo in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Everardo Mano to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Vinicio Vidal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Esteban Manuelo was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. After 53 minutes Real Bañil CF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Prudencio Gorri who took care of the corner kick. Gregorio Menendo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Guillermo Sesuldo fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Bañil CF's protests and gave Guillermo Sesuldo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st minute, Guillermo Sesuldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Everardo Mano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gregorio Menendo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillermo Sesuldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 72 minutes into the game, Alicante FC's Everardo Mano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Esteban Manuelo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Delmiro Hechter hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Fernando Igon hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Gregorio Menendo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelio Maju in the 78th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Alicante FC's Prudencio Gorri got a free kick in the 78th minute. After a rather tough play, Real Bañil CF's Guillermo Sesuldo got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the game, Alicante FC's Everardo Mano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Esteban Manuelo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Real Bañil CF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
