Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Clodoveo Favila got the match started through his kick off. After 3 played minutes General Paz Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Evelio Bernad. In the 13th minute, Celedonio Lluis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Mazzeteam defense, Clodoveo Favila kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafael Erasto. The Mazzeteam fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafael Erasto should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clodoveo Favila in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafael Erasto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Mazzeteam getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Constantino Vellito hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Clodoveo Favila put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Rafael Erasto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantino Vellito in the 27th minute of play forced General Paz Juniors's goalkeeper Tomás Gaitan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. General Paz Juniors's Tomás Gaitan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save General Paz Juniors from getting a goal against them. Tomás Gaitan made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Nicholas Hazard sent off a good shot on target. In the 35th minute of the match, Gregorio Eyague got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tomás Gaitan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Mazzeteam's zone, Orlando Iratxo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Erasto came out of the goal and Orlando Iratxo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Mazzeteam getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Nicasio Dalmau hit a great ball. The Mazzeteam players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. General Paz Juniors were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Celedonio Lluis to make the kick off. Tomás Gaitan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Eyague in the 52nd minute of the match. Gregorio Eyague received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Tomás Gaitan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Constantino Vellito took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomás Gaitan. Tomás Gaitan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 63rd minute Nicholas Hazard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Gaitan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orlando Iratxo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Erasto having to interfere. In the 70th minute, General Paz Juniors's Orlando Iratxo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rafael Erasto. Rafael Erasto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. A hard shot by Isaias Banegas from long distance, 75 minutes into the match, got Rafael Erasto's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Clodoveo Favila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Rafael Erasto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Mazzeteam's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Iratxo came free, but Rafael Erasto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clodoveo Favila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Erasto having to interfere. Clodoveo Favila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute, Mazzeteam's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Clodoveo Favila fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Serafino Ilixo hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Gregorio Eyague hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Astor Romildo during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The General Paz Juniors supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing General Paz Juniors would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
