The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Lorenzo Ixona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Ganix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deportivo SACAEMPATE's Damian Birila was substituted for Jonathan Estebano. The crowd rose to their feet as Evaristo Jerico kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Evaristo Ganix. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lorenzo Ixona got free with Evaristo Ganix in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Damian Birila fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo SACAEMPATE's protests and gave Damian Birila a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Deportivo SACAEMPATE getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Damian Birila hit a great ball. Herminio Furtado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evaristo Ganix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Ixona, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Fernando Rainerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herminio Furtado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, MORGAN FC's Evaristo Jerico got a free kick in the 26th minute. Herminio Furtado charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Herminio Furtado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Lorenzo Ixona took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Evaristo Ganix to make any attempt to save it. With an all-out effort, MORGAN FC's Evaristo Ganix threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nereo Ciceron, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Evaristo Ganix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Jerico, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Herminio Furtado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernando Rainerio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. A collision led to MORGAN FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Gualterio Kepa hit a great ball. When Ambrosio Eufemio fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo SACAEMPATE's protests and gave Ambrosio Eufemio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th minute, Ambrosio Eufemio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gervasio Mergildo to make the kick off. Evaristo Ganix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gervasio Mergildo, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. During the 53rd minute of the match Damian Birila completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Damian Birila a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 54th minute, Damian Birila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ambrosio Eufemio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Fernando Rainerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Deportivo SACAEMPATE's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Jerico came free, but Evaristo Ganix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evaristo Ganix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Ixona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the game, MORGAN FC's Gervasio Mergildo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Evaristo Ganix made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Evaristo Ganix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Ciceron in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute Ezequiel Urki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Ganix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evaristo Ganix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Jerico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, MORGAN FC's Ezequiel Urki got a free kick in the 81st minute. After some careless play in the Deportivo SACAEMPATE defense, Gervasio Mergildo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evaristo Ganix. The Deportivo SACAEMPATE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evaristo Ganix should have stopped the shot. Herminio Furtado was shown his second yellow card after 86 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Ambrosio Eufemio kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Evaristo Ganix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervasio Mergildo in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 95th minute Evaristo Jerico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Ganix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Jerico in the 97th minute of play forced Deportivo SACAEMPATE's goalkeeper Evaristo Ganix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the MORGAN FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
