Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Teodoro Herena started the match with the kick off. After 2 minutes, Dolcet Vizcarra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Douglas Haig and the LUQUERO players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dolcet Vizcarra hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Douglas Haig's Eloy Marques got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute Teodoro Herena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Berdoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The player immediately received a yellow card. Primitivo Garin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvio Geofredo in the 32nd minute of play. Primitivo Garin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo Jaume in the 34th minute of the match. Dolcet Vizcarra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Garin having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Paolo Jaume managed to get in a good position for a shot. Douglas Haig's supporters rose to their feet, but Paolo Jaume was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Primitivo Garin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paolo Jaume who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Primitivo Garin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Douglas Haig's Paolo Jaume came free and shot a quick shot against goal 45 minutes in the game, fortunately Primitivo Garin had problems saving as it came toward the left post. 47 minutes into the match, LUQUERO's goalkeeper Primitivo Garin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paolo Jaume. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Ernesto Donzel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Primitivo Garin. LUQUERO's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Primitivo Garin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elvio Geofredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Douglas Haig fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Douglas Haig's Paolo Jaume looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal.
