Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 8th minute Flavio Cresconio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Victor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tambería's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Ladislao Erlantz scored to the left of an out of position Paulo Victor, making the score, 1-0. If Pascual Xabier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ariel Jeraldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Lartaun having to interfere. A collision led to Olayon Futbol Club CDE getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Lorenzo Hitz hit a great ball. Ariel Jeraldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ladislao Erlantz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Victor having to interfere. The supporters of Olayon Futbol Club CDE booed when Tambería was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosme Che didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bonifacio Vito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Victor having to interfere. After 43 minutes of play, Olayon Futbol Club CDE's Bonifacio Vito made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulo Victor was left in no man's land by his defense there! 46 minutes into the match, Tambería's Ariel Jeraldo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Horacio Lartaun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pascual Xabier to make the kick off. Horacio Lartaun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascual Xabier in the 52nd minute of the match. When Ariel Jeraldo came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Tambería fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ariel Jeraldo couldn't finish the play. Sixto Elizardo kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Erlantz in the 57th minute of play forced Tambería's goalkeeper Paulo Victor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th match minute, Tambería was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Izel to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute, Ladislao Erlantz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olayon Futbol Club CDE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Bonifacio Vito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Ladislao Erlantz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olayon Futbol Club CDE's supporters rose to their feet, but Ladislao Erlantz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Victor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 73 minutes into the game, Tambería's Ariel Jeraldo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Horacio Lartaun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. After a rather tough play, Olayon Futbol Club CDE's Silvano Miro got a free kick in the 76th minute. Ladislao Erlantz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Victor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bonifacio Vito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tambería's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
