The supporters of Excelxion booed when Los Pollitos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceferino Padro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Fausto Millan put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gervasio Jacindo. 66 minutes into the game, Excelxion's Fausto Millan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Excelxion's Primitivo Celipe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gervasio Jacindo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Primitivo Celipe fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Excelxion's protests and gave Primitivo Celipe a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Los Pollitos booed when Excelxion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Celipe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ceferino Padro might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ermegildo Formerio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ceferino Padro ran back to his position shaking his head. Gervasio Jacindo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fausto Millan in the 86th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ceferino Padro in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ermegildo Formerio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gervasio Jacindo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fausto Millan in the 92nd minute. The Excelxion supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Excelxion would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
