Alfredo Veronica charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo Veronica the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alfredo Veronica kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Samuel Furman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benigno Abilio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute of the match, Simon Favila tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lázaro Lapurdi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in Cuervos's zone, Benigno Abilio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Furman came out of the goal and Benigno Abilio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute, Cuervos's Simon Favila ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lázaro Lapurdi. Lázaro Lapurdi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benigno Abilio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benigno Abilio struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Samuel Furman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico Wamyc. After having played for 55 minutes, Alfredo Veronica managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Wamyc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Veronica was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 58th match minute, Club Atletico Wamyc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Veronica to maneuver through the defense. Amadeo Soter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Furman having to interfere. If Simon Favila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cuervos's goalkeeper Samuel Furman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 71 minutes into the match, Cuervos's Simon Favila sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lázaro Lapurdi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Simon Favila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute Benigno Abilio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Furman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuel Furman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benigno Abilio in the 84th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Benigno Abilio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benigno Abilio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Samuel Furman having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Simon Favila managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cuervos's supporters rose to their feet, but Simon Favila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lázaro Lapurdi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cuervos's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
