Rigoberto Macario charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rigoberto Macario the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some careless play in the Cuervos defense, Elias Loiola kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Samuel Furman. The Cuervos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samuel Furman should have stopped the shot. 14 minutes into the match, Santo Evangelio's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Favila came free, but Dante Mino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Favila in the 19th minute of play forced Santo Evangelio's goalkeeper Dante Mino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elias Loiola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elias Loiola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Furman having to interfere. Simon Favila blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Mino having to make a save. 27 minutes into the match, Santo Evangelio's goal looked a bit too open when Laureano Loco came free, but Dante Mino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Amador Normando notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Cuervos's Samuel Furman. Samuel Furman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 35th minute, Gaston Telo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samuel Furman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amador Normando in the 40th minute of the match. If Simon Favila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amador Normando scored 0-3 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Samuel Furman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Simon Favila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Simon Favila to make the kick off. Amador Normando hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Dante Mino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Simon Favila went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. In the 74th minute, Simon Favila ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Mino was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. If Simon Favila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Rigoberto Macario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elias Loiola got free with Samuel Furman in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Cuervos's Samuel Furman got control of the ball when Elias Loiola tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Gaston Telo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Niceto Maureo fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cuervos's protests and gave Niceto Maureo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cuervos getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Niceto Maureo hit a great ball. Santo Evangelio succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Cuervos had controlled the match.
