An unexpectedly hard shot by Robustiano Rodas in the 7th minute of play forced Garuhapé AFC's goalkeeper Gaston Henric to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teo Tadzio hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the match, Garuhapé AFC's goalkeeper Gaston Henric had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robustiano Rodas. Gerardo Laffitte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Oinatz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerardo Laffitte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Tartalo in the 15th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Tartagal's zone, Ricardo Tartalo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerardo Laffitte came out of the goal and Ricardo Tartalo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dario Normando struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Gaston Henric didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tartagal. When Hipolito Nastasio came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Tartagal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hipolito Nastasio couldn't finish the play. After having played for 29 minutes, Dario Normando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tartagal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dario Normando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Robustiano Rodas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Garuhapé AFC's Vicente Balesio got a free kick in the 34th minute. 35 minutes into the game, Fulgencio Azeari was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Garuhapé AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tartagal the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 35th minute of the game. One of Garuhapé AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tartagal:s goal. The goalkeeper, Gaston Henric, was totally fooled by Tartagal's Urbano Ignazio, who 37 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a defensive mix-up in Garuhapé AFC's zone, Eulalio Indalecio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaston Henric came out of the goal and Eulalio Indalecio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Urbano Ignazio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Henric having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
Rodolfo Madaleno kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Gerardo Laffitte acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 53rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Fulgencio Azeari. Garuhapé AFC's Gaston Henric played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robustiano Rodas in the 56th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Garuhapé AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Eulalio Indalecio came free, but Gaston Henric reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Garuhapé AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Normando came free, but Gaston Henric reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute Eulalio Indalecio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Henric saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 minutes of play, Garuhapé AFC's Filomeno Lidon made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gerardo Laffitte was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Robustiano Rodas came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Tartagal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robustiano Rodas couldn't finish the play. Gaston Henric showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eulalio Indalecio, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute, Urbano Ignazio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Arnulfo Ixona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
