Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Conrado Guter started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flavio Manny during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Samico AFC's Flavio Manny got a free kick in the 3rd minute. A collision led to Samico AFC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Jorge Peyo hit a great ball. In the 8thth minute of the game Leonardo Chabier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Samico AFC's Carolo Abechuco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Erasmo Ramirez hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Fernan Gaufred charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fernan Gaufred the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Matreros Fútbol Club booed when Samico AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernan Gaufred didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aaron Gaxan took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carolo Abechuco. Carolo Abechuco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The audience was convinced that Santo Seguinus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carolo Abechuco was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Fernan Gaufred was shown his second yellow card after 25 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Matreros Fútbol Club booed when Samico AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernan Gaufred didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Matreros Fútbol Club fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Matreros Fútbol Club's Leonardo Chabier looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Leonardo Chabier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonardo Chabier to make the kick off. If Flavio Manny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aaron Gaxan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Carolo Abechuco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 59 minutes of play, Samico AFC's Flavio Manny made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evelio Jon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aaron Gaxan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carolo Abechuco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Manny in the 66th minute of play forced Matreros Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Evelio Jon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 67 played minutes Matreros Fútbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Chabier. In the 71st minute, Flavio Manny had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Amado Jaume's late challenge caught a Samico AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amado Jaume helped the player get up and apologised. 71 minutes into the game, one of Matreros Fútbol Club:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After having played for 85 minutes, Aaron Gaxan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matreros Fútbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aaron Gaxan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aaron Gaxan got free with Carolo Abechuco in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Matreros Fútbol Club eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
