Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Elpidio Urbes got the match started through his kick off. If Arsenio Nafarroa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felipe Gabon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodoro Burutzagi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Independencia's Elpidio Urbes in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye After Chabón's goalie prevented a goal. Laureano Guillelmo kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After 12 played minutes Romeo Rodas scored with a long sweeping shot just to the left of Mariano Carlomagno who was too lazy, 1-0. Independencia's Epifanio Basajaun got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, Independencia's Elpidio Urbes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felipe Gabon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After Chabón's Felipe Gabon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Burutzagi in the 24th minute of play. Gustavo Gauargi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Carlomagno having to interfere. Romeo Rodas, 30 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Elpidio Urbes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Gabon having to interfere. Felipe Gabon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Venceslas in the 37th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustavo Gauargi got free with Mariano Carlomagno in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 40th minute Arsenio Nafarroa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Carlomagno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Bernardo Abascal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, After Chabón's Bernardo Abascal got a free kick in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arsenio Nafarroa was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Elpidio Urbes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Gabon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Independencia fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Independencia's Teodoro Burutzagi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 62nd minute, Elpidio Urbes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Felipe Gabon. The goal made the score 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arsenio Nafarroa in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mariano Carlomagno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Felipe Gabon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teodoro Burutzagi in the 69th minute. Arsenio Nafarroa took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mariano Carlomagno. Mariano Carlomagno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. When Teodoro Burutzagi fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Independencia's protests and gave Teodoro Burutzagi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th match minute, Independencia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Burutzagi to maneuver through the defense. When Teodoro Burutzagi came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Independencia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodoro Burutzagi couldn't finish the play. In the 86th minute, Teodoro Burutzagi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodoro Burutzagi got free with Felipe Gabon in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 94th minute Arsenio Nafarroa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Carlomagno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Independencia's Benedicto Darien got a free kick in the 97th minute.
