After a defensive mix-up in Villa Cuetazo's zone, Aureliano Urki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lázaro Cebrian came out of the goal and Aureliano Urki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Segundo Rojelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Cebrian having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Segundo Rojelio notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Villa Cuetazo's Lázaro Cebrian. Lázaro Cebrian was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baltasar Silvino made a kick off. Baltasar Silvino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Lázaro Cebrian made a huge save. Andrade FC's Aureliano Urki got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
