The supporters of Club Sportivo Maipú booed when Florida FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timoteo Reno didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geronimo Ofelio got free with Felipe Urtsin in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Club Sportivo Maipú's zone, Saverio Malvin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fausto Haitz came out of the goal and Saverio Malvin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 8 played minutes Florida FC got a freekick which was hit by Luis Hermon. Felipe Urtsin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafino Lobo in the 13th minute of play. Florida FC's Felipe Urtsin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Florida FC from getting a goal against them. If Geronimo Ofelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geronimo Ofelios short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Felipe Urtsin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Leo Cresconio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leo Cresconio struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Fausto Haitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Florida FC. A collision led to Florida FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Timoteo Reno hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leo Cresconio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonas Ereinotz kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After 57 minutes of play, Club Sportivo Maipú's Serafino Lobo made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felipe Urtsin was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 62nd minute, Serafino Lobo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Sportivo Maipú fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Florida FC's Felipe Urtsin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafino Lobo in the 65th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Florida FC's Ambrosio Frascuelo got a free kick in the 67th minute. Felipe Urtsin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geronimo Ofelio in the 72nd minute of play. Timoteo Reno hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the match, Florida FC's goal looked a bit too open when Serafino Lobo came free, but Felipe Urtsin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Sportivo Maipú's Serafino Lobo got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80th minute Serafino Lobo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Urtsin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geronimo Ofelio took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felipe Urtsin. Felipe Urtsin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Silverio Martinez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Serafino Lobo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Felipe Urtsin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Florida FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Club Sportivo Maipú.
