In the 19th minute, Thor Husøy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Gagoneta FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. La Gagoneta FC's Andres Beltxe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save La Gagoneta FC from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Oalo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Cidro in the 25th minute of the match. Lucas Indartsu hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the game, Thor Husøy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Jonathan Oalo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 36th minute, Benigno Abaurre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Oalo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Servando in the 39th minute of the match. After 41 minutes of play, La Gagoneta FC's Mariano Cidro made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Oalo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 46 minutes into the match, Thor Husøy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Oalo. Merlo fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thor Husøy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Atilano Tonio to make the kick off. If Atilano Tonio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in La Gagoneta FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! Andres Beltxe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilano Tonio in the 58th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, La Gagoneta FC's Esteban Dacio got a free kick in the 61st minute. Mariano Cidro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Oalo having to make a save. 67 minutes into the game, Nigel Cochrane was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Gagoneta FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Merlo fc the free kick. Andres Beltxe was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 92nd minute Atilano Tonio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Beltxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alonzo Florian hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. 97 minutes into the match, Francisco Azeari had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andres Beltxe. La Gagoneta FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Francisco Azeari was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-6. The La Gagoneta FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
