When the match had been going on for 8 minutes, Laguneros S.D's Jose Bernaldo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Teodosio Marin. Pedro Celino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Laguneros S.D booed when TIBURON AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nereo Demesio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teodosio Marin made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Severo Raulo sent off a good shot on target. After taking down the ball on Laguneros S.D's corner Jose Bernaldo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Teodosio Marin quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, TIBURON AFC's Nereo Demesio got a free kick in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The wind increased when Feliciano Perfecto made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, TIBURON AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romulo Maju to maneuver through the defense. After 53 played minutes, Laguneros S.D's Jose Bernaldo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Teodosio Marin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Laguneros S.D reached it. Teodosio Marin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliciano Perfecto, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After 56 played minutes TIBURON AFC got a freekick which was hit by Albano Honesto. In the 64th match minute, Laguneros S.D was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliciano Perfecto to maneuver through the defense. Cristobal Sazon's late challenge caught a Laguneros S.D's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristobal Sazon helped the player get up and apologised. Cristobal Sazon hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, Victorino Bartoleme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 78th minute, Feliciano Perfecto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teodosio Marin was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manuel Beturian during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Laguneros S.D fans cheered their team off the field, for while TIBURON AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
