Asantar FC's Siro Gartzea got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aristides Nastasio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roberto Fero charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Asantar FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Siro Gartzea struck a weak shot in the 50th minute. Honorato Milio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Asantar FC. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aristides Nastasio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
