Tomas Cordera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siro Gartzea in the 2nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Siro Gartzea in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomas Cordera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carmelo Silvanito during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Garayalde AFC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Carmelo Silvanito hit a great ball. In the 13th minute, Siro Gartzea made a precise shot to the right of Tomas Cordera. Garayalde AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Garayalde AFC's Tomas Cordera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Pierres in the 18th minute of play. The supporters of Asantar FC booed when Garayalde AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeledon Sugoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Cordera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Nastasio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaston Mark recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st minute, Aristides Nastasio made a precise shot to the right of Tomas Cordera. Garayalde AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 36th minute, Roberto Fero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomas Cordera was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Tomas Cordera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebio Pierres in the 38th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Garayalde AFC's Zeledon Sugoi got a free kick in the 39th minute. 40 minutes into the game, Aristides Nastasio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Tomas Cordera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 45th minute, Eusebio Pierres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Garayalde AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Asantar FC were winning 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aristides Nastasio was the one to do the kick off. If Vicente Cresconio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute, Siro Gartzea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carmelo Silvanito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Lázaro Edwardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the game, Roberto Fero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Asantar FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Garayalde AFC the free kick. After 67 played minutes Asantar FC got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Fero. In the 71st match minute, Asantar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebio Pierres to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 78 minutes, Aristides Nastasio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Asantar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aristides Nastasio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaston Mark scored 1-4 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lázaro Edwardo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vicente Cresconio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, Aristides Nastasio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 88 minutes, Gaston Mark managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garayalde AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaston Mark was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Garayalde AFC's Tomas Cordera got control of the ball when Siro Gartzea tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Asantar FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
