After 35 minutes of play, Garayalde AFC's Gaston Mark made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Honorato Milio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Honorato Milio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaston Mark in the 38th minute. After having played for 44 minutes, Vicente Cresconio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garayalde AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vicente Cresconio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Aztore in the 47th minute of play forced Garayalde AFC's goalkeeper Tomas Cordera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Braulio Aztore made the kick off in the second half. LOS TOPITOS APESTOSOS's Braulio Aztore got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 54th minute Gaston Mark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorato Milio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Higinio Ur's late challenge caught a Garayalde AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Higinio Ur helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Garayalde AFC booed when LOS TOPITOS APESTOSOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Higinio Ur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vicente Cresconio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Honorato Milio having to make a save. Honorato Milio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Mark, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Gaston Mark might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Honorato Milio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaston Mark ran back to his position shaking his head. When Zeledon Sugoi came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Garayalde AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zeledon Sugoi couldn't finish the play. In the 76th minute of the match, Silverio Danel got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tomas Cordera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, LOS TOPITOS APESTOSOS's Higinio Ur got a free kick in the 78th minute. Higinio Ur hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in LOS TOPITOS APESTOSOS's zone, Zeledon Sugoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Honorato Milio came out of the goal and Zeledon Sugoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Garayalde AFC booed when LOS TOPITOS APESTOSOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luka Kü didn't get a good kick on the ball.
