Jacinto Polo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Pasqual, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Sigismund Hutmacher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geronimo Ugaitz in the 6th minute of the match. Igor Cilio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigismund Hutmacher having to interfere. Gaudencio Rufo charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaudencio Rufo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Jugador Nro 12 getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Gaudencio Rufo hit a great ball. Geronimo Ugaitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Sigismund Hutmacher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute Salvador Pasqual shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Polo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salvador Pasqual might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacinto Polo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Salvador Pasqual ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Jugador Nro 12 getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Guaberto Beltza hit a great ball. Sigismund Hutmacher stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Igor Cilio's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Jacinto Polo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guido Bibiano in the 35th minute. Jugador Nro 12's Guido Bibiano managed to work through Los Diablos Rojos's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Guido Bibiano dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Sigismund Hutmacher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geronimo Ugaitz in the 44th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Salvador Pasqual made a kick off. Arnoldo Amor hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Jugador Nro 12's Gaudencio Rufo got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Gaudencio Rufo kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Los Diablos Rojos's Jose Piearres shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 66th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Sigismund Hutmacher but with some difficulty. After a defensive mix-up in Jugador Nro 12's zone, Geronimo Ugaitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sigismund Hutmacher came out of the goal and Geronimo Ugaitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Jugador Nro 12 fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Jugador Nro 12's Salvador Pasqual looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Maximiliano Frutos fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jugador Nro 12's protests and gave Maximiliano Frutos a yellow card for diving instead. Geronimo Ugaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigismund Hutmacher having to interfere. Jugador Nro 12's Guido Bibiano got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 96 minutes of play, Los Diablos Rojos's Igor Cilio made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sigismund Hutmacher was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jugador Nro 12 were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Los Diablos Rojos to leave the ground with a draw.
