Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bartolo Costante kicked off to start the match. Bartolo Costante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Scott Plumber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Los Gigantes's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Quintan came free, but Severo Elia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Scott Plumber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Sanchez, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Severo Elia stood somewhat misplaced when Antonio Jerrold came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 16 minute. Zeledon Sanchez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Scott Plumber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Scott Plumber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Costante in the 24th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florencio Silbestre got free with Severo Elia in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 27th match minute, Hachiroku F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Dantel to maneuver through the defense. Bartolo Costante blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Scott Plumber having to make a save. Antonio Jerrold could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Severo Elia made a huge save. Scott Plumber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Sanchez in the 38th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Hachiroku F.C.'s zone, Bartolo Costante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Scott Plumber came out of the goal and Bartolo Costante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Zeledon Sanchez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enrique Quintan to strike the kick off in the second half. When Cecilio Merexildo fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Gigantes's protests and gave Cecilio Merexildo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st minute, Cecilio Merexildo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Hachiroku F.C.'s zone, Zeledon Sanchez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Scott Plumber came out of the goal and Zeledon Sanchez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Scott Plumber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Ostots, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute, Cecilio Merexildo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zeledon Sanchez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Scott Plumber having to interfere. Severo Elia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Jerrold in the 69th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 72nd minute by Bartolo Costante got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Eugenio Ostots recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zeledon Sanchez came free with the goalkeeper in the 84th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Scott Plumber could save by the left post. Hachiroku F.C.'s Scott Plumber proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Hachiroku F.C. from getting a goal against them. If Bartolo Costante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Bartolo Costante got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Hachiroku F.C. players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
