Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Artemio Duarte got the match started through his kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Alvaro Indartsu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Firsag FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Team XII the free kick. Team XII's Melquiades Orlan was substituted for Marcelo Iraido. Alvaro Indartsu kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Joaquin Soter kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Evarado in the 14th minute of play forced Team XII's goalkeeper Delmiro Bartolome to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 minutes of play, Team XII's Abelardo Calvino made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evaristo Gasteiz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Artemio Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Team XII's supporters rose to their feet, but Artemio Duarte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evaristo Gasteiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Geronimo Poncio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Evarado in the 29th minute of play forced Team XII's goalkeeper Delmiro Bartolome to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Calvino in the 33rd minute of play forced Firsag FC's goalkeeper Evaristo Gasteiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 35 minutes, Artemio Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Team XII's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artemio Duarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Firsag FC's zone, Geronimo Poncio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaristo Gasteiz came out of the goal and Geronimo Poncio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roque Evarado made a kick off. Artemio Duarte's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute, Evaristo Gasteiz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 60th minute, Artemio Duarte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Team XII's goalkeeper Delmiro Bartolome, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Geronimo Poncio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Evaristo Gasteiz made a huge save. Sixto Iliana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Geronimo Poncio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Gasteiz having to interfere. When Dario Ilixo fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Firsag FC's protests and gave Dario Ilixo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Team XII booed when Firsag FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Ilixo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 80 minutes, Artemio Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Team XII's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artemio Duarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abelardo Calvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Evaristo Gasteiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evaristo Gasteiz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geronimo Poncio in the 90th minute. 93 minutes into the match, Team XII's goal looked a bit too open when Sixto Iliana came free, but Delmiro Bartolome reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 93 played minutes Team XII got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Abascal. Delmiro Bartolome showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roque Evarado in the 94th minute of the match. After 95 played minutes Team XII got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Abascal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Evarado in the 96th minute of play forced Team XII's goalkeeper Delmiro Bartolome to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Team XII's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
