After 3 played minutes la21 got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Gombal. Maximiliano Ticho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Larra in the 7th minute of play forced Galga United's goalkeeper Clodoveo Betadur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Nafarroa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clodoveo Betadur having to interfere. In the 11th match minute, Galga United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Gonzo to maneuver through the defense. Clodoveo Betadur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Larra in the 13th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lisandro Gombal during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, Galga United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Tonio to maneuver through the defense. Camilo Feo lost his temper 23 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave la21 a penalty, 25 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Laureano Egoi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Galga United's Clodoveo Betadur. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Gombal in the 28th minute of play forced Galga United's goalkeeper Clodoveo Betadur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lisandro Gombal kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Maximiliano Ticho's late challenge caught a la21's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximiliano Ticho helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Galga United's Maximiliano Ticho got a free kick in the 36th minute. The supporters of Galga United booed when la21 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laureano Egoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cesar Casado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cecilio Feo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Galga United's zone, Elpidio Urritz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clodoveo Betadur came out of the goal and Elpidio Urritz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Galga United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. la21 were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arturo Iliana stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gaspar Tonio charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaspar Tonio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in la21's zone, Arnoldo Cedro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cecilio Feo came out of the goal and Arnoldo Cedro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th match minute, la21 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Larra to maneuver through the defense. After 67 minutes, Paulo Gonzo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galga United and the la21 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Arturo Iliana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galga United's supporters rose to their feet, but Arturo Iliana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cecilio Feo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benito Nafarroa struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Clodoveo Betadur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for la21. 84 minutes into the match, Galga United's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Nafarroa came free, but Clodoveo Betadur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Gilberto Erramu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cecilio Feo came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Galga United's Arnoldo Cedro. But to his dismay, Arnoldo Cedro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. la21 had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
