Humberto Tavio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Mingo, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 7 minutes into the game, Pastor Mingo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Humberto Tavio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 32 played minutes Tandil Galaxy FC got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Chale. 33 minutes into the match, Tandil Galaxy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Mingo came free, but Humberto Tavio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35thth minute of the game Aldo Santos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tandil Galaxy FC's Humberto Tavio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Humberto Tavio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camilo Emenon in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Faustino Orlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute, Camilo Emenon had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnulfo Gora during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tandil Galaxy FC! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pastor Mingo to make the kick off. Celedonio Kepa's late challenge caught a Pacará AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celedonio Kepa helped the player get up and apologised. Celedonio Kepa hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the match, Tandil Galaxy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Bernat came free, but Humberto Tavio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Humberto Tavio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Augusto Bernat's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After having played for 96 minutes, Alfonso Marz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tandil Galaxy FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfonso Marz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Tandil Galaxy FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pacará AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
