The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Rayuela FC's Camilo Jerrald nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Santos Bela made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The supporters of Rosario De Central booed when Rayuela FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Chuse didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nunez Fortun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. German Gipuzkoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rayuela FC's German Gipuzkoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Mosen in the 17th minute of play. The supporters of Rosario De Central booed when Rayuela FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Chuse didn't get a good kick on the ball. German Gipuzkoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nunez Fortun, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. German Gipuzkoa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nunez Fortun went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 27 minutes into the game, Andres Dalmai was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rosario De Central's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rayuela FC the free kick. A collision led to Rosario De Central getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Andres Dalmai hit a great ball. German Gipuzkoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Pello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Andres Dalmai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, Rayuela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nunez Fortun came free, but German Gipuzkoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Nunez Fortun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Camilo Jerrald to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Camilo Jerrald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Bela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Rosario De Central's Hugo Mosen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. In the 59th minute, Camilo Jerrald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santos Bela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Herena in the 61st minute of the match. Elias Che charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elias Che the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Elias Che kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Camilo Jerrald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santos Bela having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillermo Ereinotz in the 71st minute of play forced Rosario De Central's goalkeeper Santos Bela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the game, Benigno Mino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rayuela FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rosario De Central the free kick. After a rather tough play, Rayuela FC's Benigno Mino got a free kick in the 75th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Rosario De Central's Andres Dalmai broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Santos Bela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Herena in the 80th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Rayuela FC's goalkeeper German Gipuzkoa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nunez Fortun. German Gipuzkoa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nunez Fortun in the 85th minute. Luis Chuse kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Camilo Jerrald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santos Bela having to interfere. Rosario De Central's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
