Piamonte's supporters rose to their feet, but Sixto Valente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Ceandro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee ignored Piamonte's protests and gave Teodosio Gaizkine a yellow card for diving instead.
