Modesto Salbatore's late challenge caught a La Revancha Fútbol Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Modesto Salbatore helped the player get up and apologised. Modesto Salbatore hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute, Andres Rameriz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Monserrat's Leandro Bidun didn't even have to move. Leandro Bidun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ovidio Buinton in the 14th minute. Cecilio Gerazan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Marcos Beltza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Monserrat booed when La Revancha Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teo Bento didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Revancha Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Marcos Beltza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Elpidio Ursino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monserrat's supporters rose to their feet, but Elpidio Ursino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Beltza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Elpidio Ursino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcos Beltza was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elpidio Ursino to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cecilio Gerazan got free with Marcos Beltza in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcos Beltza made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Cecilio Gerazan sent off a good shot on target. Cecilio Gerazan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Beltza having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Cecilio Gerazan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monserrat's supporters rose to their feet, but Cecilio Gerazan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Beltza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Monserrat played a much better game than La Revancha Fútbol Club and deserved their victory. The La Revancha Fútbol Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
