The supporters of Cascallares FC booed when Fernández AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santos Koldo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 23 minutes into the match, Desiderio Gelacio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Santos Koldo. Fernández AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Desiderio Gelacio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Felix Eskuin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Santos Koldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Cascallares FC's goalkeeper Eriberto Reyes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adan Baldovino. Cascallares FC's Eriberto Reyes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Cascallares FC from getting a goal against them. In the 37th minute, Roberto Ubarna reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eriberto Reyes. The goal made the score 2-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adan Baldovino in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eriberto Reyes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41st minute, Eleuterio Gonzalez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roberto Ubarna's late challenge caught a Cascallares FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roberto Ubarna helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th minute, Roberto Ubarna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

A hard shot 52 in the game by Felix Eskuin from a close distance when the talented Santos Koldo managed to make a qualified save. Fernández AFC's players were relieved. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santos Koldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eriberto Reyes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zeledon Abajas went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Honorato Sol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Santos Koldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute Felix Eskuin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Koldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felix Eskuin in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santos Koldo saved Fernández AFC from getting behind.
