Victoriano Rio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquin Dacio, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Hilario Atarratze could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Victoriano Rio made a huge save. The referee felt a red card was in order, 37 minutes into the game, when Mauro Laurentzi put in a rough tackle. The referee gave Aguilar a penalty, 39 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Adan Frederik, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ataliva's Victoriano Rio. 1-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fulgencio Raphael to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Joaquin Dacio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Victoriano Rio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 56 minutes into the match, Ataliva's goal looked a bit too open when Hilario Atarratze came free, but Victoriano Rio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, Joaquin Dacio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Victoriano Rio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Victoriano Rio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquin Dacio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the match, Ataliva's Fulgencio Raphael sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Prudencio Faro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Ataliva fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victoriano Rio should have stopped the shot. Marcelo Sansone made in the 79th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Aguilar's Hilario Atarratze. Hilario Atarratze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the match, Ataliva's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquin Dacio came free, but Victoriano Rio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Adan Claude had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adan Claude hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Aguilar's Adan Claude got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Prudencio Faro made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Fulgencio Raphael sent off a good shot on target. 95 minutes into the match, Ataliva's goal looked a bit too open when Adan Claude came free, but Victoriano Rio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ataliva's Victoriano Jusepe got a free kick in the 96th minute.
