In the 39thth minute of the game Anibal Marko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villa Podestá's Amadeo Lamberto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amadeo Lamberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Crescencio in the 45th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Ezequiel Crescencio made the kick off in the second half. Villa Podestá's Amadeo Lamberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Crescencio in the 53rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anibal Marko got free with Amadeo Lamberto in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Villa Podestá's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonas Umbruso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arsenio Cibran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgilio Arlo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the game, Ezequiel Crescencio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Amadeo Lamberto. Ezequiel Crescencio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. The supporters of Villa Podestá booed when Gregorio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Inge didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ubaldo Pio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arsenio Cibran having to interfere. Villa Podestá were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
