Curapaligüé's Lino Flores proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Curapaligüé from getting a goal against them. Lino Flores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Ciceron in the 16th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game, Curapaligüé's Daniel Theobald nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diego Florinio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Diego Florinio came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Curapaligüé's Daniel Theobald. But to his dismay, Daniel Theobald quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 33rd minute Daniel Theobald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Florinio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute Israel Baleren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Flores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lino Flores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Israel Baleren in the 38th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, FC Bayern Masía's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Theobald came free, but Diego Florinio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Theobald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Florinio having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 46th minute by Ismael Ciceron got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

55 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Bayern Masía's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Erubiel Huly was slow to take the kick. During this time Curapaligüé's players had a chance to rest. Erubiel Huly made a great header on Curapaligüé's corner, it was just that FC Bayern Masía's Diego Florinio managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of FC Bayern Masía booed when Curapaligüé was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabricio Berenguer didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Daniel Theobald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
