The referee ignored Deportivo Pan Dulce's protests and gave Marcelo Muno a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes Deportivo Pan Dulce got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Muno. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Pan Dulce's Generoso Elixio got a free kick in the 28th minute. Teo Marcones showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Everardo Erramun, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, Froilan Oinaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute, Hilario Txomin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lorenzo Danel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1.

After having played for 61 minutes, Leo Santelices managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Pan Dulce's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leo Santelices was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th minute, Leo Santelices hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leo Santelices's late challenge caught a Morrillo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leo Santelices helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Morrillo booed when Deportivo Pan Dulce was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantino Txordon in the 81st minute of play forced Deportivo Pan Dulce's goalkeeper Lorenzo Danel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Everardo Erramun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teo Marcones. Morrillo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Everardo Erramun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Lorenzo Danel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Musko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Morrillo's zone, Everardo Erramun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teo Marcones came out of the goal and Everardo Erramun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th minute, Morrillo's Tobias Rozarius seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tobias Rozarius the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Morrillo protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tobias Rozarius had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Tobias Rozarius kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Marcelo Muno missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 91 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Teo Marcones right hand side. Morrillo's attentive Froilan Oinaz managed to snatch the ball when Marcelo Muno made a throw-in in the 97th minute of the game. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Deportivo Pan Dulce walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
