The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Efrain Quinteros during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mancardos FC's Efrain Quinteros got a free kick in the 5th minute. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 7th minute, when Matadores de Pilar's Cipriano Gartzea after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Jacinto Lizardi in Mancardos FC's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. Jacinto Lizardi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Toribio in the 9th minute of the match. Mancardos FC's Jacinto Lizardi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Toribio in the 10th minute of play. Jacinto Lizardi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Gartzea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Matadores de Pilar booed when Mancardos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sixto Abalos didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Mancardos FC's Jacinto Lizardi got control of the ball when Tiburcio Macerio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Román Martinez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Bermudo in the 15th minute of play. Mancardos FC's Jacinto Lizardi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Mancardos FC from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Adolfo Toribio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jacinto Lizardi. That made the score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. In the 23rd minute Adolfo Toribio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Lizardi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Mancardos FC's Jacinto Lizardi got control of the ball when Tiburcio Macerio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 26th match minute, Mancardos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by German Castel to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the match, Matadores de Pilar's goal looked a bit too open when Roque Bermudo came free, but Román Martinez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. German Castel hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. When Donato Bastia came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Matadores de Pilar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donato Bastia couldn't finish the play. After having played for 32 minutes, Tiburcio Macerio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matadores de Pilar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiburcio Macerio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Román Martinez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roque Bermudo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mancardos FC's Jacinto Lizardi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Mancardos FC from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
Jacinto Lizardi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucas Menossi went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Jacinto Lizardi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiburcio Macerio, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute Cipriano Gartzea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Lizardi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Mancardos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacinto Lizardi should have stopped the shot. Mancardos FC's Jacinto Lizardi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Toribio in the 70th minute of play. Roque Bermudo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Román Martinez came out and tried to block the shot, but Roque Bermudo slotted it home off the left post making it 5-1 in the 81st minute. After 93 minutes of play, Matadores de Pilar's Adolfo Toribio made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacinto Lizardi was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee ended the match the Matadores de Pilar players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
