After a rather tough play, Matadores de Pilar's Oscar Galo got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute, Delmiro Bilbo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Hernandez struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Román Martinez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pincén. The supporters of Pincén booed when Matadores de Pilar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximo Lano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Pincén's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Toribio came free, but Ramon Urtsua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiburcio Macerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Urtsua having to interfere. Tiburcio Macerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Ramon Urtsua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aristides Orlanda hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute Adolfo Toribio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Urtsua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adolfo Toribio made a kick off. Tiburcio Macerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Matadores de Pilar getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Lucas Menossi hit a great ball. Lucas Menossi's late challenge caught a Pincén's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucas Menossi helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Pincén booed when Matadores de Pilar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Menossi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Tiburcio Macerio could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Ramon Urtsua however easily saved by the left post. After having played for 88 minutes, Adolfo Toribio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matadores de Pilar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolfo Toribio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Hernandez came free in the 90th minute and tried to tip the ball over Román Martinez, but to the joy of Matadores de Pilar's supporters the ball went over. Chants of Matadores de Pilar echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Pincén had held the ball for most of the match.
