In the 11th match minute, Dago F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benicio Gartzi to maneuver through the defense. Inmigrantes de Quilmes's Ovidio Tancredo got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Dago F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Inmigrantes de Quilmes:s goal. Paulo Harkaitz had in the 16thth minute some difficulties stopping Isaias Frascuelo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 16 minutes of play, Inmigrantes de Quilmes's Isaias Frascuelo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulo Harkaitz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 19thth minute of the game Uriel Obano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dago F.C.'s Paulo Harkaitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ovidio Tancredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Paulo Harkaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Dago F.C. getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Claudio Nastasio hit a great ball. Paulo Harkaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimeno Selatse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dago F.C.'s Paulo Harkaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimeno Selatse in the 26th minute of play. Dago F.C.'s Nereo Sansone got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Benicio Gartzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Dago F.C. defense, Jimeno Selatse kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulo Harkaitz. The Dago F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo Harkaitz should have stopped the shot. In the 40th minute, Nereo Sansone reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Anacleto Lorencio. The goal made the score 1-3. Ovidio Tancredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 47 minutes into the game, Pastor Guillem was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dago F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inmigrantes de Quilmes the free kick. After 47 played minutes Dago F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Pastor Guillem.

The wind increased when Nereo Sansone made the kick off in the second half. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Inmigrantes de Quilmes's Jimeno Selatse in the 53rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Paulo Harkaitz was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Dago F.C. through an amazing save. Benicio Gartzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anacleto Lorencio having to interfere. Anacleto Lorencio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benicio Gartzi's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. 69 minutes into the game, Jimeno Selatse lined in a short shot 1-5 behind a frustrated Paulo Harkaitz. A collision led to Dago F.C. getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Enrique Domingues hit a great ball. Isaias Frascuelo hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Nereo Sansone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Inmigrantes de Quilmes defense, Benicio Gartzi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anacleto Lorencio. The Inmigrantes de Quilmes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anacleto Lorencio should have stopped the shot. Ovidio Tancredo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 84th minute. Inmigrantes de Quilmes's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jimeno Selatse got free with Paulo Harkaitz in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 88th minute Jimeno Selatse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Harkaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nereo Sansone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 93 played minutes Inmigrantes de Quilmes got a freekick which was hit by Felix Baraquiel. In the 96th minute, Ovidio Tancredo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Inmigrantes de Quilmes supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Inmigrantes de Quilmes would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
