Javier Marz made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Martin Fernandes sent off a good shot on target. In the 13th minute, Pastor Llorienzo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Club Atletico Brillanté getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Martin Fernandes hit a great ball. Pastor Llorienzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Gonzalo Arce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Llorienzo in the 20th minute of play forced Club Atletico Brillanté's goalkeeper Gonzalo Arce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Maximino Abecia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Atletico Brillanté's Gonzalo Arce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Llorienzo in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Galeno in the 29th minute of play forced Club Atletico Brillanté's goalkeeper Gonzalo Arce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ariel Pere fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atletico Brillanté's protests and gave Ariel Pere a yellow card for diving instead. Ariel Pere hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Pastor Llorienzo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 38 minutes, Feliberto Oskitz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SS Español and the Club Atletico Brillanté players grew even worse after the yellow card.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Fernandes in the 52nd minute of play forced SS Español's goalkeeper Javier Marz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SS Español's Javier Marz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Fernandes in the 59th minute of play. Gonzalo Arce was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Victor Galeno showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 61 minute of play. When Fausto Eguzki was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 67 minutes had been played. The supporters of SS Español booed when Club Atletico Brillanté was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Eguzki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gonzalo Arce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Galeno in the 81st minute of the match. Ciro Xabier struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Gonzalo Arce didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SS Español. SS Español's Victor Galeno got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Victor Galeno managed to get in a good position for a shot. SS Español's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Galeno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gonzalo Arce breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 88 minutes into the match, Marcelo Ascencio notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Club Atletico Brillanté's Gonzalo Arce. Gonzalo Arce was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marcelo Ascencio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute.
