Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Santa Clara's goalkeeper Mariano Hermelando, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Benigno Chano took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mariano Hermelando. Mariano Hermelando dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The throw-in from Nereo Chinto in the 11th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Atlético Santa Clara's Honorato Lope. Casimiro Emmanuel struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Mariano Hermelando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malvinas FC. Mauricio Kimetz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Hermelando having to interfere. 22 minutes into the game, Mauricio Kimetz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Mariano Hermelando was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Geronimo Fero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute, Mauricio Kimetz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mariano Hermelando was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 39th minute Geronimo Fero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Hermelando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Geronimo Fero came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Malvinas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geronimo Fero couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Uriel Txema was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Malvinas FC got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Chinto. After 57 minutes of play, Malvinas FC's Mauricio Kimetz made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mariano Hermelando was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Alfredo Caradaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bonifacio Shepherd kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Benigno Chano was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 68th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Bonifacio Shepherd's late challenge caught a Malvinas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bonifacio Shepherd helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th minute, Bonifacio Shepherd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benigno Chano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Mariano Hermelando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mauricio Kimetz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Geronimo Fero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Hermelando having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geronimo Fero got free with Mariano Hermelando in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 94 minutes into the match, Atlético Santa Clara's goalkeeper Mariano Hermelando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Geronimo Fero. Malvinas FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
