The referee ignored Calfucurá's protests and gave Carlos Munio a yellow card for diving instead. After 5 played minutes Calfucurá got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Munio. Isaac Caton's late challenge caught a FC Rustico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isaac Caton helped the player get up and apologised. Isaac Caton kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Romeo Batista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baltasar Haritzeder in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jesus Iztal, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jesus Iztal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angelo Oxarra in the 21st minute. Romeo Batista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jesus Iztal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romeo Batista's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. In the 44th minute Isaac Caton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesus Santxol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Angelo Oxarra made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, FC Rustico's goalkeeper Jesus Santxol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Munio. In the 53rd minute, Bonifacio Romano made a precise shot to the right of Jesus Santxol. FC Rustico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The referee felt a red card was in order, 57 minutes into the game, when Rogelio Hats put in a rough tackle. In the 56th minute, one of FC Rustico:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Rustico. The score was 0-3 after a penalty in the 59th minute, where Calfucurá:s Eulalio Valiente tricked FC Rustico:s Jesus Santxol with a difficult ball by the left post. In the 66th minute, Calfucurá's Justino Mikeldi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jesus Santxol. Jesus Santxol yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Carlos Munio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jesus Santxol firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Romano in the 74th minute of play forced FC Rustico's goalkeeper Jesus Santxol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 75 minutes, Angelo Oxarra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Rustico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelo Oxarra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 77 minutes into the match, FC Rustico's goalkeeper Jesus Santxol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaac Caton. In the 84th minute, Calfucurá's Bonifacio Romano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Justino Mikeldi got free with Jesus Santxol in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 88 minutes into the game, Erubiel Enaut was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Rustico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Calfucurá the free kick. A collision led to FC Rustico getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Erubiel Enaut hit a great ball. After some careless play in the FC Rustico defense, Justino Mikeldi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jesus Santxol. The FC Rustico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jesus Santxol should have stopped the shot. With an all-out effort, Calfucurá's Jesus Santxol threw himself towards the right post 98 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Justino Mikeldi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. FC Rustico's Jesus Santxol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifacio Romano in the 99th minute of play.
