The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Barracas al sud getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Wilfredo Tohias hit a great ball. EL GRANATE's Eriberto Roldan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Aurre in the 12th minute of play. Paulino Orti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santos Llope having to interfere. The supporters of EL GRANATE booed when Barracas al sud was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Rencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Barracas al sud's Santos Llope got control of the ball when Paulino Orti tried to sneak it across the goal line. Santos Llope showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Orti, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. EL GRANATE's Zacarias Bela quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Paulo Rencio, made in the 32nd minute of the game. The supporters of EL GRANATE booed when Barracas al sud was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmelo Orti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eriberto Roldan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobaldo Gonsalve, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the match, EL GRANATE's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Ihintza came free, but Eriberto Roldan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Teobaldo Gonsalve notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of EL GRANATE's Eriberto Roldan. Eriberto Roldan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leopoldo Ihintza to make the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 53rd minute by Domingo Pacho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Teobaldo Gonsalve kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Ihintza in the 58th minute of play forced EL GRANATE's goalkeeper Eriberto Roldan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. EL GRANATE were furious when Albino Urtats was red carded, 61 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to EL GRANATE getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Albino Urtats hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the match, EL GRANATE's goalkeeper Eriberto Roldan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teobaldo Gonsalve. In the 66th match minute, EL GRANATE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Havier to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to EL GRANATE getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Paulino Orti hit a great ball. Paulino Orti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Santos Llope tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clemente Dracena charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clemente Dracena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 72nd minute, Clemente Dracena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eriberto Roldan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amancio Aurre, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute Teobaldo Gonsalve shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Roldan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Orti in the 88th minute of play forced Barracas al sud's goalkeeper Santos Llope to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eriberto Roldan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Gonsalve in the 92nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Domingo Pacho got free with Eriberto Roldan in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, EL GRANATE's Clemente Vistruario got a free kick in the 94th minute. Barracas al sud made a substitution. Atilano Kinsen replaced Alfredo Garaona. Clemente Vistruario kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The EL GRANATE supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Barracas al sud's performance. The match ended with a win for Barracas al sud.
