Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) FC Hormiguitas's Severo Fernandez started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Cesar Nardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chacarita FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesar Nardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augusto Loiola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 5th minute, Matias Ortzi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hernan Dorio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After having played for 9 minutes, Higinio Guter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chacarita FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Higinio Guter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Florencio Tartalo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of FC Hormiguitas's Augusto Loiola. Augusto Loiola was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hernan Dorio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matias Ortzi went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Hermengildo Rik hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Higinio Guter might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Augusto Loiola. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Higinio Guter ran back to his position shaking his head. Florencio Tartalo charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Florencio Tartalo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 31st minute, Florencio Tartalo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Severo Fernandez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Hernan Dorio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Florencio Tartalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Loiola having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Florencio Tartalo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chacarita FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. If Florencio Tartalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Augusto Loiola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernan Obeko in the 42nd minute of the match. Matias Ortzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Hernan Dorio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hernan Obeko kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Florencio Tartalo to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florencio Tartalo got free with Augusto Loiola in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 57 played minutes FC Hormiguitas got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Idacio. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Higinio Guter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chacarita FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Higinio Guter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the match, FC Hormiguitas's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Guter came free, but Augusto Loiola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augusto Loiola made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florencio Tartalo in the 73rd minute. When Eriberto Suarez fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chacarita FC's protests and gave Eriberto Suarez a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Hormiguitas booed when Chacarita FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eriberto Suarez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eriberto Suarez kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 76th minute Matias Ortzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Dorio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hernan Dorio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Ortzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After 80 minutes, Hernan Obeko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chacarita FC and the FC Hormiguitas players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Chacarita FC's zone, Maximino Hitzeder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hernan Dorio came out of the goal and Maximino Hitzeder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Florencio Tartalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Loiola having to interfere. FC Hormiguitas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Cesar Nardo scored to the left of an out of position Augusto Loiola, making the score, 2-4. Augusto Loiola made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florencio Tartalo in the 93rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Ortzi in the 96th minute of play forced Chacarita FC's goalkeeper Hernan Dorio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
