Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Severo Fernandez started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, EL GRANATE's Dalmacio Salvator got a free kick in the 3rd minute. The supporters of FC Hormiguitas booed when EL GRANATE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristo Porfirio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute Severo Fernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Roldan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. EL GRANATE's Eriberto Roldan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Bertran in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th match minute, FC Hormiguitas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Ortzi to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the game, one of FC Hormiguitas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. EL GRANATE's Eriberto Roldan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severo Fernandez in the 26th minute of play. Severo Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Roldan having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emanuel Hartz in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eriberto Roldan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paulino Orti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Augusto Loiola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Horacio Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Roldan having to interfere. Severo Fernandez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The throw-in from Edelmiro Etxepare in the 47th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by EL GRANATE's Norberto Beliran. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulino Orti made a kick off. Severo Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Paulino Orti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Augusto Loiola was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Severo Fernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Eriberto Roldan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Paulino Orti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 76th minute Paulino Orti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Loiola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Jenaro in the 92nd minute of play forced FC Hormiguitas's goalkeeper Augusto Loiola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Hugo Havier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The EL GRANATE fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Hormiguitas had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
