An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Tohias in the 6th minute of play forced Xixer Wor's goalkeeper Leon Abeita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Guido Tohias notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Xixer Wor's Leon Abeita. Leon Abeita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 13th match minute, Hull City 1904 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Vachon to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Dalmacio Guipuzkoa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Xixer Wor's supporters rose to their feet, but Dalmacio Guipuzkoa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximiliano Hotz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Xixer Wor booed when Hull City 1904 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teobaldo Tebaldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximiliano Hotz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliberto Kelemen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Xixer Wor's Maximiliano Hotz threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Feliberto Kelemen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Xixer Wor's Dalmacio Guipuzkoa got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leon Abeita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobaldo Tebaldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Teobaldo Tebaldo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leon Abeita was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Xixer Wor's goalkeeper Leon Abeita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The crowd rose to their feet as Hull City 1904's Benjamin Bengtsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leon Abeita. That made the score 0-2 after 51 minutes of play. In the 57th match minute, Hull City 1904 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Bengtsson to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Guido Tohias took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Leon Abeita to make any attempt to save it. After some careless play in the Xixer Wor defense, Teobaldo Tebaldo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leon Abeita. The Xixer Wor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leon Abeita should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Xixer Wor's zone, Guido Tohias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon Abeita came out of the goal and Guido Tohias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Hull City 1904's Guido Tohias in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Teobaldo Tebaldo made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 86thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Leon Abeita would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Maximiliano Hotz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliberto Kelemen, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Paulino Tabor took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Maximiliano Hotz. Hull City 1904's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Maximiliano Hotz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliberto Kelemen in the 94th minute of play. Leon Abeita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teobaldo Tebaldo went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Hull City 1904's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
