Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laureano Berbiz in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulino Bemabe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Miguel Luke hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 9th match minute, Never Back Down was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Lobo to maneuver through the defense. DEPORTIVO ZAETA's Camilo Peter got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inocencio Lleir in the 19th minute of play forced DEPORTIVO ZAETA's goalkeeper Aureliano Llope to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Inocencio Lleir cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Aureliano Llope was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 24 minutes into the game, Laureano Berbiz lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Paulino Bemabe. A collision led to DEPORTIVO ZAETA getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Florencio Fliz hit a great ball. When Never Back Down's Simon Aureo in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Paulino Bemabe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laureano Berbiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Froilan Pitin hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute Luciano Abadia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Bemabe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Aureo in the 45th minute of play forced DEPORTIVO ZAETA's goalkeeper Aureliano Llope to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Never Back Down's zone, Laureano Berbiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulino Bemabe came out of the goal and Laureano Berbiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Laureano Berbiz was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Laureano Berbiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Bemabe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulino Bemabe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Peter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inocencio Lleir in the 56th minute of play forced DEPORTIVO ZAETA's goalkeeper Aureliano Llope to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laureano Berbiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 74 played minutes DEPORTIVO ZAETA got a freekick which was hit by Omar Crispo. In the 77th minute, Never Back Down's Inocencio Lleir dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guido Ixidor during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. DEPORTIVO ZAETA's Artemio Lluques quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ubaldo Gonza, made in the 86th minute of the game. Paulino Bemabe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laureano Berbiz in the 93rd minute of the match. Aureliano Llope made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Simon Aureo sent off a good shot on target. Ubaldo Gonza made in the 97th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Miguel Luke immediately put the ball in play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
