Nottingham Forest F.C.'s Angelo Matia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 2nd minute of the match, managed to save Nottingham Forest F.C. from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Naranja AFC defense, Hernan Paez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvestre Chus. The Naranja AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvestre Chus should have stopped the shot. Angelo Matia made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Ovidio Cordarrell sent off a good shot on target. Silvestre Chus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaias Santiago in the 16th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Nottingham Forest F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Abarca came free, but Angelo Matia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelo Matia didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 20th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Sergio Abarca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Angelo Matia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Isaias Santiago had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silvestre Chus. Naranja AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isaias Santiago was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Angelo Matia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benedicto Locaio's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Sergio Abarca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Matia having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isaias Santiago in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvestre Chus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Silvestre Chus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaias Santiago, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Teodoro Gauargi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Silvestre Chus. Naranja AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sergio Abarca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Nottingham Forest F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ovidio Cordarrell came free, but Angelo Matia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee gave Naranja AFC a penalty, 61 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ladislao Ekialde, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Nottingham Forest F.C.'s Angelo Matia. 2-4. In the 65th match minute, Nottingham Forest F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Mannie to maneuver through the defense. Angelo Matia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Abarca in the 66th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Naranja AFC's goalkeeper Silvestre Chus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hernan Paez. If Ovidio Cordarrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sergio Abarca in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelo Matia saved Nottingham Forest F.C. from getting behind. The Naranja AFC fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Naranja AFC's Sergio Abarca looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Nottingham Forest F.C. booed when Naranja AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacobo Modestio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute, Hernan Paez made a precise shot to the right of Silvestre Chus. Naranja AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-5. If Sergio Abarca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the game, Lázaro Transito was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nottingham Forest F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Naranja AFC the free kick. Angelo Matia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ovidio Cordarrell went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-5 was the resulting score. The Nottingham Forest F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
