When Dario Tino fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carlos Paz FC's protests and gave Dario Tino a yellow card for diving instead. 5 minutes into the game, one of Carlos Paz FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Carlos Paz FC:s Tomás Isaio showed great skill when he stopped Antonio Erdiano:s penalty. The excitement rose when Axtron's Antonio Erdiano after 7 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Carlos Paz FC's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 1-0. Candido Rio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomiro Eliazar in the 12th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Axtron's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Gines came free, but Candido Rio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Axtron's Augusto Eneto got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Carlos Paz FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Edgardo Birjaio hit a great ball. Carlos Paz FC's Tomás Isaio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Carlos Paz FC from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Axtron defense, Marcial Mantzio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Candido Rio. The Axtron fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Candido Rio should have stopped the shot. After having played for 28 minutes, Matias Gines managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carlos Paz FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matias Gines was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Carlos Paz FC's Tomás Isaio got control of the ball when Augusto Eneto tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 31st minute of the match, Cleto Mel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tomás Isaio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Matias Gines fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Candido Rio having to interfere. Matias Gines struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Candido Rio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carlos Paz FC. In the 40th minute, Leo Galsino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Candido Rio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Gines, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 42 minutes into the match, Julian Virila notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Axtron's Candido Rio. Candido Rio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Augusto Eneto to make the kick off. Matias Gines struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Candido Rio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carlos Paz FC. If Matias Gines had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Carlos Paz FC booed when Axtron was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Gomez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julian Virila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Candido Rio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Candido Rio managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Carlos Paz FC's Matias Gines fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 70th match minute, Axtron was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Pero to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Carlos Paz FC's Matias Gines got a free kick in the 74th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aaron Pero during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Axtron getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Aaron Pero hit a great ball. Julian Virila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Candido Rio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 88 minutes of play, Axtron's Augusto Eneto made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomás Isaio was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 92 played minutes Axtron got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Erdiano. Candido Rio was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Julian Virila capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Julian Virila really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3.
