With an extended leg and a bit of luck Haroldo Paul prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thanks to some nice moves Anselmo Beturian could shoot a difficult shot in the 8th minute, which Genaro Hermelando however easily saved by the left post. Aston Vilas FC's Haroldo Paul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Oalo in the 14th minute of play. If Mariano Oalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Bakar took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Haroldo Paul. Haroldo Paul dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The audience was convinced that Mariano Oalo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Haroldo Paul was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Haroldo Paul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Chago in the 27th minute of play. CSD Zamba were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Aston Vilas FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mariano Oalo took the corner. The audience was convinced that Mariano Oalo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Haroldo Paul was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Genaro Hermelando made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Lucio Benino sent off a good shot on target. Genaro Hermelando was a little too slow when Lucio Benino got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 1-1. Mariano Oalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After having played for 54 minutes, Mariano Oalo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CSD Zamba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Oalo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Chago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Paul having to interfere. In the 61st minute Anselmo Beturian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genaro Hermelando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anselmo Beturian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Hernán Cattaneo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dario Gar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Haroldo Paul made a huge save. CSD Zamba's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariano Oalo in the 75th minute. After a rather tough play, CSD Zamba's Jonathan Chago got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute, Dario Gar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CSD Zamba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Aston Vilas FC's Haroldo Paul proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Aston Vilas FC from getting a goal against them. In the 82nd match minute, Aston Vilas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Galindo to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the game, Alejo Menendo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CSD Zamba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aston Vilas FC the free kick. Alejo Menendo kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. The supporters of Aston Vilas FC booed when CSD Zamba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Chago didn't get a good kick on the ball. CSD Zamba's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
