Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Higinio Claude kicked off to start the match. After 5 minutes, Marciano Fe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aranguren AFC and the Barrio Facultad players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 6 played minutes Aranguren AFC got a freekick which was hit by Marciano Fe. After 7 minutes, Higinio Claude made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Aranguren AFC's Denis Transito tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Paolo Cerilo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Barrio Facultad's Rigoberto Rafel got a free kick in the 10th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Hugo Duardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aranguren AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugo Duardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zbyszko Kiewra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th minute, Raul Ermano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Barrio Facultad booed when Aranguren AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Bingen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barrio Facultad's Virgílio Meirelles couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 17th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Aranguren AFC. In the 20th minute, Raul Ermano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barrio Facultad fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Higinio Claude received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Denis Transito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barrio Facultad's Leopoldo Felo got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paolo Cerilo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 36th minute. Aranguren AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Paolo Cerilo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zbyszko Kiewra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hugo Duardo's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victor Tano during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Aranguren AFC booed when Barrio Facultad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Tano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paolo Cerilo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Zbyszko Kiewra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Cerilo in the 52nd minute of play forced Barrio Facultad's goalkeeper Zbyszko Kiewra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paolo Cerilo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zbyszko Kiewra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anibal Gaspard in the 57th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Hugo Duardo put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Zbyszko Kiewra. 76 minutes into the game, Evaristo Quinteros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barrio Facultad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aranguren AFC the free kick. Evaristo Quinteros kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aranguren AFC's goalkeeper Denis Transito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Aranguren AFC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Marciano Fe hit a great ball. Anibal Gaspard hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After 88 played minutes Higinio Claude rounded Aranguren AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-3. During the 96th minute of the match Marciano Fe completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Marciano Fe a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The Barrio Facultad supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Barrio Facultad would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
