Ripiculti de La Plata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Clodio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teobaldo Urtsin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Galeno Fuente having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Leoni AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! Francisco Ospetsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Ákos Csontos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Galeno Fuente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobaldo Urtsin in the 29th minute of play. Pascual Calixto charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pascual Calixto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 32 played minutes Leoni AFC got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Calixto. In the 34th minute, Teobaldo Urtsin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Leoni AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Urtsin came free, but Galeno Fuente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Rafael Clodio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ripiculti de La Plata's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafael Clodio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Galeno Fuente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 45 played minutes Ripiculti de La Plata got a freekick which was hit by Rene Nafarroa. When Teobaldo Urtsin came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Ripiculti de La Plata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teobaldo Urtsin couldn't finish the play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Francisco Ospetsu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Leoni AFC's goalkeeper Galeno Fuente, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Leoni AFC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Francisco Ospetsu hit a great ball. Teobaldo Urtsin struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Ripiculti de La Plata's Ákos Csontos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Ospetsu in the 78th minute of play. Teobaldo Urtsin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Galeno Fuente came out and tried to block the shot, but Teobaldo Urtsin slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 79th minute. Pascual Calixto kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. When the match was over Ripiculti de La Plata could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Leoni AFC throughout the match.
